Elite Transient Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer (including Warrant Officer) - South East England

Compensation: £44,805 / year

Department: YUS - FT13 - General Engineers

Hours: Working away - 3 weeks out of 4. 40 hours per week: Travel Sunday, Work Monday – Thursday 8am – 7pm, Travel Home Friday. Week 4: Working from home postcode.

Overview summary: We’re looking for talented and ambitious engineers to join our rapidly growing business. This role involves upskilling to deliver a variety of metering capabilities in the commercial sector, with a focus on safety, quality and customer outcomes.

Note: Travel is paid along with a daily sustenance allowance of £25. This is a dual fuel role with opportunities to upskill to additional metering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• A ‘can-do’ attitude with participation in a variety of field metering activities focused on positive customer outcomes.
• Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal and ongoing maintenance of metering systems and associated equipment and communication systems.
• Undertake debt resolution visits with the aim to fit a Smart Meter to help customers manage their debt.
• Undertaking Warrant Officer visits to recover debt.

Qualifications & Skills

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)

Desirable

• MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
• Current Transformer (CT)
• Three Phase
• REGT1-Medium Pressure

• UK Driving Licence
• Pass a colour blindness test
• Pass a DBS check
