Embedded Software Engineer

Ourclient is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that provide both mechanical and electronic components for the MOD/Automotive and Oil and Gas industry.

Due to the increased demand they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their product design team to develop software for micro-processor based embedded systems.

·Knowledge of real-time embedded systems and a solid understanding of professional software development are essential.

·Experience of wireless protocols is highly desirable and an understanding of schematic diagrams would be an advantage.

·Extensive knowledge of programming for embedded systems.

·You will be configuring embedded peripherals on microcontrollers.

·Interfacing to external devices using techniques such as GPIOs, SPI, I2C and UARTs.

·Experience testing and refining at component level using oscilloscopes and logic analysers.

·Effective communication with different types of audience.
