The department works closely with architects, technical leads, and business stakeholders to design, evolve, and communicate data models that underpin our digital and analytical solutions.About The RoleWe are looking for a technically capable and motivated Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. You will contribute to the development of clean, efficient, and scalable data solutions across cloud-native platforms, supporting the delivery of high-quality data products and services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions across Snowflake, Azure, and dbt platformsSupport migration and optimisation of applications using Azure cloud-native servicesWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry standardsImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and observability practices using Azure DevOps or JIRAApply AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and automation techniques to improve productivityEnhance tools, technologies, and ways of working to foster innovation and excellenceParticipate in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives within an Agile teamCoach and mentor peers and junior team members through technical guidance and best practice sharingTroubleshoot technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions aligned with strategic goalsAbout The CandidateThe ideal candidate will possess the following:Experience as a Data/Integration Engineer or similar roleUnderstanding of data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes, and data modellingKnowledge of Cloud-native development (Azure, Snowflake, dbt)Agile methodologies and collaboration to drive Innovation and continuous improvementExcellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWe are proud to be a Disability Confident Committed employer.
