We are committed to providing excellent client service, supported by leading technology and talent.
Aberdeen comprises three businesses, Interactive Investor (ii), Investments, and Adviser, each focused on meeting and adapting to our clients’ evolving needs.
- Interactive Investor, the UK’s second largest direct-to-consumer investment platform, enables individuals in the UK to plan, save, and invest in the way that works for them.
- Our Adviser business provides financial planning solutions and technology for UK financial advisers, enabling them to create value for their customers.
- Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager focusing on areas where we have strength and scale to capitalise on key market themes, through public markets or alternative asset classes.
About The Department
As a Software Engineer (Full Stack), you will be a member of the Development Chapter within the Asset Management Tribe, reporting to the Development Chapter Lead. You will contribute to the design, development, and support of systems critical to investment operations and reporting capabilities, enabling investment professionals across the firm to make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency.
About The Role
This is a hands-on engineering role that combines deep technical expertise with strong business engagement. You will be involved in Level 3 production support and ensure effective handover to operational teams. You may explore new tools and approaches and contribute to the evolution of our technology platforms.

About The Candidate
We are looking for someone who thrives in an Agile environment, is self-motivated, and embraces continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working in a regulated environment, balancing innovation with compliance, and be curious about how emerging technologies (including AI) can be applied to solve real-world challenges in investment management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following

- Flexibility across technologies, willingness to learn about the business and future technology, and an innovative approach to problem solving
- Strong skills in .NET (C#) and JavaScript
