What you will be doing
Engineer — Support the delivery of safe, high-quality remediation projects across the UK; help deploy, commission, and maintain specialist site equipment; work closely with experienced colleagues to learn how projects are run and delivered; supervise site activities and subcontractors, with full training given; build your technical knowledge and develop your career with us. Senior Engineer — Take the lead on delivering complex remediation projects, supporting Project Managers; supervise teams on site, manage subcontractors, and oversee commissioning activities; maintain oversight of health, safety, programme, quality, and budgets; mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of our work.
What you should bring to the role
For Engineer roles — practical, hands-on, outdoors-friendly; experience in remediation, environmental science, construction, civils, or related fields, or a desire to start a career in this area; good problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills; willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence. For Senior Engineer roles — solid background in remediation or environmental projects; experience managing teams and subcontractors on site; ability to lead site teams and work closely with Project Managers; experience managing contractors, site activities, and safety on complex projects; understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations including CDM; relevant engineering qualification (ideally towards chartership); organised, proactive, and able to mentor others; willingness to travel across the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
