Our Engineer Surveyor roles help you further develop your mechanical engineering skills within a market-leading engineering inspection provider.
We are expanding our skilled, field-based Engineer Surveyor team in Central London, specifically for Lift and Crane inspections.
Responsibilities:
Begin with industry-leading, bespoke training, then carry out statutory inspections, providing expert opinions on equipment to ensure clients comply with legislation and standards. You will report using rugged laptops and issue reports electronically, requiring good IT skills and high literacy. Excellent communication skills and sound engineering judgment are essential.
Qualifications and Skills:
You should be an experienced engineer with solid knowledge in your discipline, working within a multi-disciplinary inspection team. You will report to a Team Manager, based from home, with a client base within reasonable travel distance.
Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC) in a relevant engineering field
- A relevant apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience in engineering, particularly with lifts and/or cranes, or related fields like manufacturing, repair, or maintenance
- A full UK driving license
- Willingness to work paid overtime
