Role Description

Advance your engineering career with Allianz Engineering, Construction & Power. Our Engineer Surveyors visit client sites to inspect and assess various plant and equipment. Upon joining, you will be enrolled in our comprehensive induction training program.

This role is suitable for experienced engineers with knowledge of Pressure, Pressed Air, & Steam equipment, especially those with backgrounds in manufacturing, maintenance, or site inspection. You will inspect equipment such as pressure vessels and boilers, prepare electronic reports, and help ensure compliance with legislation.

Salary Information

£44,213 per year, based on experience, skills, and location. Salary is part of our total rewards package.

About You

• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules related to Pressure Mechanical discipline.
• Decisive and responsible decision-making skills.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel within your designated area.
• Timely processing of documentation and administration.
• Willingness to support colleagues as needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or working towards it.
• Experience with steam generation, pressed air, and related plant, ideally with manufacturing, maintenance, or inspection background.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones for work tasks.
