Overview

Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer role based near Reading. Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP28,000. This is an opportunity for a graduate in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, earth science or geophysics to join a team of Geo:Environmental and Geotechnical consultants on Ground Investigation projects in and around Reading. Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Write factual and interpretive reports.
• Borehole logging, soil and rock sampling, trial pitting.
• Groundwater and gas monitoring.
• Shadow senior team members to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology (or a similar relevant subject).
• Enthusiasm to work outdoors and in a hands-on role.
• Commute to Reading and willingness to travel for work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
