Purpose: The SAS Platform Environment and Configuration Engineer is responsible for the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of SAS environments across development, test, and production landscapes. This includes managing deployments, ensuring platform stability, and supporting integration with technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft 365. The role is critical to enabling secure, scalable, and performant analytics platforms, particularly in the context of SAS Viya migrations and multi-tenant deployments. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain SAS environments including SAS 9.4, SAS Viya 3.5, and SAS Viya 4. Support the migration of legacy SAS platforms to cloud-native SAS Viya 4 environments, including namespace separation and Kubernetes orchestration. Implement and manage configuration objects, service data, and translation objects within SAS environments.
