OverviewHeadley have a live vacancy for an experienced Estimating Engineer with a well regarded engineering business in West Yorkshire.The business is a sub-contract precision engineer machining a wide range of components for customers in diverse industry sectors. The quality and variety of work is excellent.The role is a key part of the commercial team where you'll apply your technical knowledge and CN engineering experience to deliver accurate quotations to customers.ResponsibilitiesFielding incoming customer enquiries to calculate competitive cost estimates and quotationsAnalysing customer drawings and technical informationApplying engineering knowledge to understand material requirements, machine and labour costs and times.Liaising with internal departments and customers to ensure best solutionsObtaining any quoted from suppliers or 3rd parties as requiredQualifications / RequirementsThe role would require significant machine shop experienceApprentice trained engineer, or similar, and most probably an ex machinistExcellent technical skills, and knowledge of the workings of a machine shopCommercial outlook, able to deal effectively with customersStrong numerical skills and a close attention to detail.Full info available on application #J-18808-Ljbffr
