My client, a market leader in aluminium extrusion manufacturing, is seeking an Extrusions Engineer to join their leadership team in Yatton. This is a senior development role, designed for succession into the Head of Extrusions (HOE) position, responsible for leading a team of approximately 150 people across Press Operations, Die Shop, and Packing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy manufacturing, with proven leadership experience, technical acumen, and a drive for continuous improvement. You will support and deputise for the current Head of Extrusions and work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operational teams to drive performance, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities – Extrusions Engineer
Work towards full appointment to Head of Extrusions role by learning all critical extrusion performance areas. Deputise for the CPO (Chief Production Officer) during periods of absence. Oversee and develop engineering strategy across the Extrusion department. Support the planning and execution of Capex projects and long-term equipment upgrades.
