Role Overview:
As a F5 Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, engineering, and implementing configurations across the EMEA network infrastructure. Your expertise will help drive the deployment of cutting-edge technical solutions while adhering to architectural governance, standards, and policies.
Key Skills:
proven experience as a Load Balancing Network Engineer. Extensive experience with F5 DNS (GTM) and various F5 Modules: LTM, GTM, APM, ASM, SSLO. Knowledge of virtual Load Balancers and FIPS modules. Proficiency in building and configuring Load Balancers to meet given standards. Experience with VMware's Next Gen Load Balancer (AVI Networks). Automation scripting skills. Strong DMZ architecture and engineering experience. In-depth knowledge of network protocols and security principles. Working knowledge of DNS and IP Address Management. Excellent communication and technical analytical skills. A strong commitment to network security and compliance. Proven troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues. A collaborative spirit, but also the ability to work independently. A client-focused approach to network engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyse, and document technical application and service requirements. Collaborate with multiple technical teams to identify end-to-end solutions that balance business needs with security, availability, and resiliency. Create and document designs utilising best practises and standard approaches. Configure devices and deploy new services into production. Participate in the prioritisation and scheduling of implementation activities. Manage stakeholder requirements effectively. Actively engage in the Change Management process. Assist in troubleshooting existing and new implementations, enhancing services along the way. Identify and manage risks within the operational environment. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects changes in the network.
