Fabric Engineer (Multi-Skilled / Handyperson Experience) Cardiff £32,000 – £36,000

The Role:

We're working with a leading facilities management company to recruit a Mobile Fabric Engineer, ideally based in the Cardiff area, to cover a portfolio of high-end commercial office buildings across Cardiff and Bristol. This is a great opportunity for someone who's multi-skilled, hands-on, and confident in client-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities: General building maintenance and repairs (doors, locks, painting, patching, basic plumbing, minor carpentry, etc.) Carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites Supporting other engineers where needed and escalating issues when required Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Representing the business in a professional manner when dealing with clients on-site What We're Looking For: Experience in a similar fabric or multi-trade maintenance role A broad skillset covering general building maintenance tasks A polite, professional attitude and strong communication skills Someone comfortable working across multiple sites and engaging with clients Full UK driving licence (essential)
