Fabric Engineer

A leading Construction and Facilities Management contractor is seeking an Fabric Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a mobile role working across a range of commercial sites across Lincoln.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality mobile facilities maintenance services to high street retail and banking clients.
* Perform a range of building fabric maintenance tasks including: Patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry and painting and decorating
* Conduct both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across client sites.
* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with statutory health and safety standards and internal policies.
* Carry out regular inspections and monitoring of equipment as part of a preventative maintenance programme.
* Effectively communicate with clients during service visits, reporting defects and providing updates.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed using digital systems.
* Represent the company professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Proven experience in a similar role within facilities management, mobile maintenance, or the construction sector.
* City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, building maintenance).
