Fabric Maintenance EngineerLocation: Queensgate Shopping Centre - PeterboroughCore Hours: 08:00am - 18:00pmShift pattern on rotation:5 days On - 3 days off x 44 days on - 4 days off x 3An exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fabric Maintenance Engineer at Queensgate Shopping Centre! The main purpose of the position will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules.Main Duties & Responsibilities:General CarpentryFire door maintenance and repairWeekly fire alarm testingWeekly tap flushingAHU Cleaning & ServicingBasic plumbing and drainage repairsPatch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino & screedsSuspended ceiling repairsShelving/rackingLock changes/repairsPainting & DecoratingWorking hours as part of the site's shift patternUndertake PPM activity in a quality, professional mannerProduction of technical and situational reports as requiredProactively use the technology systems given to you so that the Company can always be compliant with its contractual obligationsCarry out the works always requested in a professional and proactive mannerTo always communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clientsProvide first line out of hours call out for the siteWriting activity reports in line with Company procedures accurately and timelyProactively assisting the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identifiedAttending team meetings/briefings as requestedTo provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on timeTo ensure that the Company is always presented in a good lightUndertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management teamTo escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager asap once noticedTo manage Integral sub-contractors whilst working on siteUnderstand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and be equally aware of their own roles and responsibilities within the CompanyEnsure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislationActively participate in the health and safety processes required under the Company policies and procedures on portfolio including, but not limited to, accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditingAny other reasonable instruction from the Contract Manager or his Line ManagersCo-operating with the company to allow it to fulfil its moral and legal duties and obligations(Additional training will be provided as necessary)Essential Qualifications & Experience:Fabric Engineer apprenticeship/ Carpentry & Joinery qualificationsProven post apprenticeship practical experienceGood communication & interpersonal skillsCommitment to providing a high-quality service to our customerWilling to work flexibly and as a team memberAbility to work overtime as requiredExcellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staffProactive in achieving the highest standard of operationHave good IT and report writing skillsAbility to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints #J-18808-Ljbffr
