Job Title: Faade Engineer Reports To: Engineering Manager Location: Milton Keynes Job Purpose: This role involves reviewing and assessing design solutions for building envelopes to ensure structural integrity, performance, and compliance with standards. The successful candidate will conduct appropriate engineering calculations and develop design proposalsstandard or bespokethat effectively engage clients on specific projects. The role is key in providing detailed design solutions and advising on project requirements to enhance client engagement and project success. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Review architectural drawings and propose efficient faade solutions for the building envelope. Prepare preliminary structural assessments for proposed glass and aluminium structures. Conduct detailed thermal assessments of both standard and bespoke envelope systems. Develop technical reports and studies related to building envelope performance and buildability. Develop concept and, when appropriate, detailed design proposals.
