Facilities Maintenance Engineer

to join our on-site FM team at a busy distribution centre. We're looking for a

hands-on, practical person

who can turn their hand to

general repairs, minor plumbing, joinery, basic electrical work , and all-round

DIY-style jobs

to keep the site running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in

fabrication, facilities maintenance, handyman work or basic trades

to step into a steady, long-term role. What Youll Be Doing:

Be the go-to person for

general maintenance and repairs

across the site.

Carry out a mix of

planned maintenance (PPM)

and

reactive tasks

as needed.

Tackle basic

plumbing, joinery, fabrication, electrical , and other building-related works.

Support site safety and ensure everything is in good working order.

Work as part of a friendly on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).

What Were Looking For:

A

good all-rounder

with skills in

DIY, facilities, or trades

(plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, electrical).

Someone happy to turn their hand to whatevers needed around the site.

Experience working in

warehouses, distribution centres, or industrial environments

is a bonus.

Basic electrical knowledge (e.g. changing sockets, lighting, isolating supplies) is useful

formal qualifications are a bonus, not a must.

A reliable, practical, and safety-conscious person who takes pride in keeping a site running well.
