Facilities Operative\nSurrey/South London\n£28,000 – £32,000\n\nDue to the nature of the work, this position is only open to sole UK who are eligible to obtain Security Clearance.\n\nCopello are working on behalf of a Defence Prime to recruit a Facilities Operative in South London on a permanent basis.\n\nIn this role, you’ll take a hands-on approach to maintaining and improving the site — carrying out daily upkeep, repairs, and general support to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-presented working environment for staff and visitors.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\n * Tackle general repairs and upkeep across the site (basic plumbing, carpentry, painting).\n\n * Check and respond to issues with building systems and equipment.\n\n * Support office moves, furniture setups, and layout changes.\n\n * Oversee contractors and suppliers working on-site.\n\n * Assist with grounds care, waste management, and seasonal tasks (e.g., gritting).\n\n * Contribute to wider facilities projects and team improvements.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n * Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building support role.\n\n * Practical skills with tools and general repairs.\n\n * Organised, reliable, and customer-focused.\n\n * Able to work independently or as part of a team.\n\n * Eligible to gain UK Security Clearance
