Job Description

Our client a medium sized engineering business are based in Burnley. They employ over 50 people within a variety of roles on the shop floor. They are currently recruiting for a facilities Maintenance Engineer/Electrician to look after the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrician with Electrical qualifications
  • Carry outreactive and planned maintenanceto building fabric and finishes, including doors, locks, flooring andbasic carpentry.
  • Performminor plumbingand handyman tasks to ensure the site remains in excellent condition.
  • Respond promptly to reactive callouts and complete tasks to a high standard with minimal disruption.
  • Support wider engineering and facilities team with multi-skilled maintenance tasks where required.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similarfabric or building maintenancerole, ideally within FM or commercial property.
  • Strong practical skills across multiple trades.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workload effectively.

This is workingDAYSwithNO CALL OUTSandNO WEEKEND WORK.
