The Role

As a Field Application Engineer, you will:

• Provide front-line technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to telematics and control systems.
• Assist with product installation, configuration, and testing at customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations for on-site support, including installation, calibration, and field testing of systems.
• Collaborate with customers to integrate our products into their systems while delivering demonstrations and training sessions.
• Document technical activities such as service reports, installation guides, and customer communications.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide pre-sales technical support and understand customer needs.
• Participate in regular training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and product offerings.
  

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates with:

• A degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (experience in telematics or control systems is preferred).
• Basic understanding of telematics and control systems, including hardware and software components.
• Familiarity with vehicle standards such as CAN Bus networks in vehicles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field assignments (a dedicated vehicle or car allowance will be provided).

• Location: East of England, United Kingdom (specific location details provided upon application).
• Work Mode: Primarily field-based with travel required; hybrid working options may be available depending on project needs.
