Job Title: Field Service Coffee Engineer
Location: Field-based – London Area
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Coffee Engineer to join a fast-growing workplace refreshment solutions provider. This role focuses on supporting businesses across London with premium coffee, vending, and unattended retail equipment. You’ll be part of a collaborative, technology-driven team delivering exceptional service to clients and consumers.
The Role:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be assigned a dedicated London area to manage, allowing you to build strong relationships with your clients. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing predominantly coffee machines, both countertop and floor-standing. Working closely with the Service Desk and Technical Team, you’ll handle planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and assist with installations at new sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance:
Install and commission new vending and coffee machines at customer sites.
Conduct planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns.
Respond to reactive service calls within agreed SLAs.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related faults.
Order and fit spare parts to ensure swift resolution of issues.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally with coffee machines, vending, or related equipment.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence (clean and valid).
Experience with machines such as Cimbali, WMF, Coffetek, and Evoca is highly desirable.
Knowledge of vending machine software and remote monitoring systems is a plus.
