Job TitleField Service Engineer (Cambridgeshire Area) at Loma SystemsJob DescriptionAs a Field Service Engineer within the National Service Team, you will provide high-quality field-based technical expertise at customer sites across the country. Your responsibilities include installation, calibration, fault finding, training, and repairing customer equipment.ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs, on-site commissioning, servicing, and calibration of customer's inline inspection equipment according to company procedures, including on-site customer training when required.Execute upgrades and refurbishments at customer sites.Handle customer queries professionally and courteously on-site.Adapt to various environments and adhere to local health and safety regulations.Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly as per company procedures.Work overtime and participate in on-call standby rota as required.Continuously improve product knowledge through learning diverse products.Provide technical support via phone and email as needed.RequirementsEssential:Good technical electrical/electronics skills.Minimum BTEC/ONC/HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering.Experience in a field service role, familiar with commissioning, repairs, and servicing.PLC programming knowledge and familiarity with PC hardware are advantages.Good PC literacy and organizational skills.Methodical problem-solving approach.Full current driving license.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Flexibility to work overtime and stay overnight occasionally.Alignment with Loma’s core behaviors and ITW Values.Additional InformationSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustry: Automation Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
