Field Service Engineer - Electrical (Food/Pharma/Packaging Machinery)

Home-Based: Cambridgeshire (covering the region with UK-wide travel). Full-Time | Permanent. Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 | OTE: £50,000-£60,000. Company Vehicle + Laptop + Phone Provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing electrical field service support (ideally 70% electrical / 30% mechanical).
• Designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently on-site.
• Performing routine maintenance and inspections.
• Travelling to customer sites for installation, repair, and system support.
• Servicing cutting-edge equipment – including X-Ray systems, metal detectors, and checkweighers – primarily across the Cambridgeshire region, with frequent UK-wide travel to support a growing client base.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
• Solid hands-on experience in a machinery or industrial setting.
• Strong fault-finding and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in food, packaging, or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel both regionally and UK-wide.
