Field Service Engineer (Fire Alarms)- Covering South East & South West London- £35,000- £39,000 per annum
Field Service Engineer (Fire Alarms) Package Overview:
* £35,000 to £39,000 per annum depending on experience
* Overtime paid at time and a half
* On-call rota 1 in 5–6 weeks, £150 per week standby rate
* Company van with personal, fuel card, travel pay after first 30 minutes
* Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday

Company Overview – Field Service Engineer (Fire Alarms)
Our client, a respected and well-established fire safety company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its South London team. The role focuses on the service and fault finding of fire alarm systems in compliance with BS5839, with some additional repair, maintenance, commissioning and small installation work.

Role Responsibilities – Field Service Engineer (Fire Alarms)
* Service and maintain fire alarm systems to BS5839 standards
* Carry out fault finding and diagnosis on a variety of fire detection systems
* Undertake repairs, modifications and remedial works
* Attend emergency call-outs as part of the on-call rota
* Occasionally carry out small installation works
* Service fire extinguishers where qualified (not essential)
* Liaise professionally with clients and maintain accurate records
Required Skills & Experience – Field Service Engineer (Fire Alarms)
* Proven experience in fire alarm servicing and maintenance
* Strong fault-finding skills on fire detection systems
* FIA Foundation and BS5839 knowledge is (experience may compensate for lack of FIA)
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Willingness to join the on-call rota
* Comfortable working in a field-based role across SE and SW London
* Full UK driving licence
but Not Essential:
* Advanced FIA training
* Knowledge of Kentec and Advanced panels
* Fire extinguisher servicing experience
