Our client is a well established and successful company. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer (FLT / MHE repairs) to join their team.\n\nThe purpose of the job is to provide customer support with the company’s range of industrial and access machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections.\n\nPLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:\n\n * Several years experience in Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and Forklift Truck (FLT) engineering / servicing / maintenance\n\n * Solid mechanical aptitude\n\n * Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills\n\n * Proficiency with MS Office\n\n * Interpersonal relationships\n\n * Customer and commercial awareness\n\n * Ability to work without supervision\n\n * Team player\n\nSalary and other benefits:\n\n * Company van is provided.\n\n * Salary: £17.00 - £17.50 per hour + Overtime, paid at time and a half + Many benefits.\n\n * Positive Feedback incentive, 5 pieces of positive feedback will give you a £25.00 Amazon voucher.\n\n * Employees employee – Yearly nominations with £1000 for the winner, £500 for second, £250 for third.\n\n * Hours of work: 40 hours a week.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Provide onsite customer support to the company’s range of industrial and access machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections\n\n * Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment\n\n * Service a wide variety of machines both on and off site\n\n * Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems\n\n * Complete job cards to a high standard promptly and within a given timeframe\n\n * Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner\n\n * Request parts efficiently and effectively\n\n * Good customer service skills\n\n * Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers\n\n * Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment\n\n * Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards\n\n * Present a professional image at all times\n\n * Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy\n\nThis role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, such as a MHE Mechanic / Material Handling Equipment Engineer / Hydraulics Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Forklift Truck Technician / FLT Engineer / MHE Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Plant Fitter / Plant Mechanic / Field Service Technician / Mobile Service Engineer / Cherry Picker Engineer / Scissor Lift Technician / etc
