Field Service Engineer - Machine Tools

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, and breakdown repair of CNC machine tools
• Mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair (with some electrical work)
• Working closely with customers to ensure machines are running to spec
• Occasional overseas travel to Scandinavia

Qualifications

• Experienced in CNC machine tool service or maintenance
• Strong mechanical skillset (70%) with solid electrical knowledge (30%)
• Siemens control experience would be a strong advantage
• Flexible to travel UK-wide (with nights away when needed)

Compensation and Benefits

• £45,000 base + door-to-door pay
• Realistic on-target earnings of £60,000-£65,000
• Company car, laptop, phone, tools, and all expenses covered
• Travel across the UK with some projects in Scandinavia
• Ongoing training and support with a well-established OEM
