This position is predominantly field-based, requiring regular travel and extended periods away from home, including weekends. The role involves supporting customers across the UK and Ireland, with the goal of providing exceptional service and technical support for marine products.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide support for marine products as part of the Global Marine Field Service team.\nConduct diagnostics and repairs at customer or third-party premises.\nPerform major unit overhauls on-site.\nTravel and work internationally as part of the team.\nAssist the Marine sales team with technical aspects.\nEnsure all tooling and equipment are within calibration dates.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and their representatives.\nSeek and report on future business opportunities.\nConsult on Health & Safety matters as required.\nMaintain paperwork and timely submission of reports.\nRepresent our client positively and professionally at all times.\nWork unsociable hours where required to meet customer needs.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in field service engineering.\nBackground in marine engineering, such as Royal Navy, Merchant Navy, Ship's crew, or Drydocks.\nElectrical and mechanical experience.\nHV experience, including electrical motors and inverters.\nKnowledge of electronic control systems.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.\nValid driving licence.\nExcellent communication skills on a technical level with both internal and external customers.\n\nBenefits:\n\nPermanent contract with a 41-hour working week.\nSalary £50,000-£75,000 (dependant on experience)\nAnnual bonus (pro-rata in the first year).\n25 days holiday (pro-rata on joining).\nPension scheme with 3% EE and 6% ER contributions.\nLife assurance.\nPrivate health care and dental health care.\nCycle to work scheme.\nIf you are an experienced Field Service Engineer with a background in marine engineering, we encourage you to apply now and join our client's dedicated team
