Our client is a well-established and successful company seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide onsite customer support for heavy plant machinery within the region. The primary focus is maintaining machinery in peak condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Experience servicing a wide range of heavy tracked plant machinesSolid mechanical aptitudeAbility to investigate and diagnose technical problems, including climbing on and underneath heavy plant machineryComfort with heavy liftingAbility to work effectively independentlyProficiency with MS OfficeStrong interpersonal, customer, and commercial awarenessAbility to work without supervisionSalary and benefits:Company van providedSalary: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour + overtime at time and a halfDoor-to-door pay under certain circumstancesPositive feedback incentive: 5 pieces of positive feedback earn a £25 Amazon voucherAnnual employee nominations with prizes: £1000 for first, £500 for second, £250 for thirdHours: 40 hours/weekKey responsibilities:Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer-reported technical issuesService various machines on and off-siteWork independently to troubleshoot and resolve problemsComplete job cards promptly and accuratelyMaintain timely paperwork and timesheetsRequest parts efficientlyBuild and maintain good relationships with customersSupervise apprentices when required, ensuring high-quality work and safetyEnsure compliance with safety procedures during repairs and inspectionsMaintain safety and legality of tools and equipmentPresent a professional image at all timesPrioritize health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers in line with company policiesThis role is suitable for candidates with prior experience in roles such as Hydraulics Engineer, Field Service Technician, Forklift Truck Technician, HGV Technician, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter, JCB Technician, External Service Engineer, Mobile Service Technician, or similar. #J-18808-Ljbffr
