Field Service Engineer – West London\nLocation: Home based working mainly in West London and surrounding areas\nContract: Full time, Permanent\nSalary: £32-40k DOE\nCall out/overtime: circa £3-5k\nHours: Monday – Friday with rostered weekend call outs (approx 1 in 7)\nVehicle: Van provided; personal use permitted\nWe are Mulmar, we are growing and we want you!\nWith more than 30 years’ experience and over 130 employees throughout the UK and Ireland, Mulmar is a leader in the supply and maintenance of some of the world’s finest espresso coffee machines in offices, high street coffee shops, restaurants, airports, hotels and food retailers.\nWe are looking to recruit a field engineer to join our expanding London team to undertake the installation, planned and reactive maintenance of a wide range of increasingly complex commercial coffee machines and ancillary equipment in West London and home county areas:\nWe provide an extensive training programme tailored towards each engineer based on their level of their electrical and mechanical knowledge and expertise as well as full product and health and safety training.\nAbout the Field Service Engineer role:\nOur field-based engineers are our first line of defence ensuring the proper installation, maintenance and repair of equipment working to the highest standards, meeting our customers’ needs.\nWith training you will be responsible for:\n• Installing a wide of expresso coffee machines.\n• Attending faults, diagnosing problems and making repairs.\n• Undertaking planned maintenance activities.\n• Ordering parts and replacement units.\n• Completing records and reports on machine status and services.\n• Liaising with customers and our service desk.\n• Explaining machine faults, findings and repairs undertaken to customers.\nIt would be great if you had:\n• A full UK driving licence (essential).\n• A basic understanding of electricity and ability to understand equipment drawings / diagrams.\n• Experience in the maintenance of electrical equipment or as an electrician.\n• Experience or knowledge of maintaining electro-mechanical equipment.\n• Field service experience (preferable).\n• Basic plumbing skills (not essential).\n• Experience in using PDAs, smart phones and computers/ tablets.\n• Good face to face customer skills.\nIn return we offer full training in a growth industry, van, tools and a competitive salary, bonus scheme, on-call allowance and overtime with the opportunity to become a specialist engineer, maintaining a broad range of increasingly complex coffee making equipment.\nIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in either of these roles, click on “APPLY” today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.\nNo agencies please
