This is a varied role that will see you working contract-to-contract with various clients. In different locations, so your own transport and ability to travel will be integral to the role.

What you’ll be doing
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be part of our Technical Services Department, supporting customers both on-site and remotely. This is a dynamic role that combines IT support with project-based field service work. You’ll need a full driving licence and be comfortable travelling and working away from home when required.
IT Support Function – Based on customer sites
- Provide excellent customer experience at all times.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Provide user support covering hardware and software at our client sites, predominantly located in London.
- Log all support requests, take ownership, track, prioritise, and progress support calls to a successful resolution.
- Active Directory administration experience.
- Experience of Windows Server, Windows 11, MS Office, Microsoft 365.
- Set up new equipment (PCs / Laptop / Mobile / etc.) for new users.
- Basic network experience to aid troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam for example).
- Comfortable with being the sole IT resource onsite.
Field Service Function
- Varied project-based work as and when required.
- Provide support for our Logistics Centre Build Room facility as required.
- Office IT fit out experience a bonus. Setting up workstations (cabling, installing, testing).
- Server rack and stack experience a bonus.
- Laptop imaging experience a bonus
- Must be comfortable with working away from home when required.
The skills you’ll need
We are looking for someone with good technical experience that can build relationships and work with people across all levels of the business. Experience working in an IT reseller organisation would be a bonus.
- Competent and experienced with various types of IT hardware and software including servers, switches and firewalls.
- Comfortable dealing with Microsoft operating systems and ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Experience with troubleshooting and providing support to customers.
- Experience with Intune.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills as you'll be working directly with our clients, alongside a team of consultants, or within a client team
- comfortable liaising with clients, both in-person and remotely.
