Field Service Engineer\nFull time - Permanent \n£45-£55k\n\nNorth East - Travel\n\nDo you have a Mechanical Field Service background? \n\nAre you happy to work away from home?\n\nAre you looking for an exciting new challenge?\n\nIf so, then this may be a great opportunity for you!\n\nBenefits you'll get: \n• 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays,\n• Company vehicle & fuel, \n• Overtime rate - time and a half for over 40 hours, \n• Laptop, tablet & mobile phone, \n• Company pension, \n• Life Assurance, \n• Income Protection, \n• Training program for professional development, \n• Employee discount,\n• Employee health and mental wellbeing programme, \n• Company events.\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n• You will service and repair biofuel and gas CHP power systems.\n• Carry out planned maintenance, fault finding, and breakdowns.\n• Diagnose mechanical issues on engines and alternators.\n• Replace components such as pumps, heat exchangers, and alternators.\n• Complete digital service reports via tablet.\n\nWhere will you be doing it?\n• Our client was founded over 20 years ago and specialise in the design, manufacture and operation of CHP units. \n\nWhat you'll need:\n• A recognised apprenticeship in motor vehicle or mechanical maintenance, or 3+ years' experience in a similar field-based role.\n• Experience servicing large engines; OEM training with MAN, Siemens, CAT or Perkins is ideal.\n• A valid Gas Safe qualification (COCN1, CGFE1 & ICPN1) is desirable.\n• Proficient with computers for emails, reporting, and system monitoring.\n• A full UK driving licence.\n• Able to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate.\n\nWe appreciate your CV may not be up to date.
