Triangle recruitment has been given an opportunity to increase field service team headcount for one of our clients . Role Overview: Start with workshop-based training in wheelchair reconditioning. Once trained, youll work in the fielddelivering, collecting, servicing, and repairing wheelchairs with a focus on achieving first-time fixes.
Key Responsibilities : Deliver and collect wheelchairs from NHS departments and service users Service and repair wheelchairs in the field Complete job documentation accurately Comply with PPE usage Participate in out-of-hours rota once trained Maintain vehicle cleanliness and stock levels Conduct weekly vehicle safety checks Provide professional customer service Organise workload and communicate with Line Manager Safeguard tools and equipment Undertake all required training Requirements : Full UK driving licence Vehicle insurance policyrequires drivers to be 25+ years old Enhanced DBS check (required) Basic workshop and electrical knowledge (12v/24v D.C. systems) Safe manual handling skills Experience in customer service and delivery driving Awareness of disability needs Flexible and proactive attitude Ability to use mobile phones and hand-held scanners Strong communication skills Other : Manual handling of equipment Standing, kneeling, crouching Working in confined spaces (e.g., bathrooms) Use of ramps and other moving equipment
Pay: £13.00 per hour Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:0017:00 (Full-Time) On-Call Duties: 1 in 4 weeks Standby Pay: MondayFriday: £10 per day (17:0023:00) SaturdaySunday: £25 per day (08:0023:00) Call-Out Pay: £19.50 per hour £26 per hour on bank holidays Coverage Area:
Wirral, Wigan, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, South Sefton, Southport & Formby
