Location: Ideally Manchester or Birmingham (UK-wide travel) Salary: £37,000–£46,000 basic DOE Package: OTE £55,000–£70,000 (includes door-to-door pay) Vehicle: Company car of your choice (must be suitable for work) Travel: Planned so you can drive home wherever possible; minimal overnights

The role

Join a CNC machine-tool service team delivering breakdown response, diagnostics, repairs, PPM and commissioning. You’ll be the on-site expert keeping customer machines running safely and reliably.

What you’ll do

Diagnose, repair and service CNC machine tools at customer sites Perform installs/commissioning; complete PPMs and health checks Electrical/mechanical fault-finding; read schematics and service docs Controls work on Heidenhain and FANUC systems Produce accurate service reports and parts usage logs Liaise with customers on root cause, fixes and preventative actions What you’ll need

Proven CNC field service experience Strong control knowledge: Heidenhain and FANUC Solid electrical/mechanical skills; hydraulics/pneumatics awareness Able to interpret wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings Full UK driving licence; right to work in the UK; regional travel comfort Nice to have

Mazak/Mazatrol or Mitsubishi exposure Safety/LOTO and PPM best-practice familiarity Spares identification and escalation experience What’s on offer £...
