Location: Manchester, Leeds & Birmingham.
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Car
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers through installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical troubleshooting of complex systems. This position involves both on-site and remote support, requiring a customer-focused approach and a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission and service company equipment at customer sites. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and urgent repairs. Provide customer training on system use and best practices. Troubleshoot technical issues, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics. Support sales and applications teams with technical expertise during customer projects. Prepare and submit accurate technical and administrative reports. Collaborate with internal teams on product testing, exhibitions and customer demonstrations. Advise on market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or related engineering discipline. Significant hand...
