CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a laboratory equipment supplier on a permanent basis.\n\nSalary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience plus monthly commission.\n\nLocation: The successful candidate for this role should be based between Newcastle and Coventry. This role will require travel across the UK and Ireland, with overnight stays.\n\nHours: Mon-Thurs 9-5.30 and Friday 9-1\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a candidate with a hands on electronics experience to enter the scientific sector!\n\nKey duties will include:\n\nLiaise with customers and colleagues in the site planning process prior to installation in analytical laboratories\nInspect, install, set up test and achieve specifications of systems and accessories at customer sites, and deliver basic operator training\nCarry out breakdown and planned preventative maintenance at customers sites\nWrite technical reports and deliver to customers in a timely manner\nTravel across the UK and Ireland, with overnight stays as required. \n\n Your Background:\n\nHNC/HND Level 4 or equivalent in Electronic Engineering \nExperience in troubleshooting and maintaining systems\nFlexibility to travel and stay away from home\nFull UK driving license\nApply:\n\nIt is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
