Job Description
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on various industrial pump systems at customer sites across the Midlands.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Pump Engineer will ideally have an engineering background in filtration, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, and rotating equipment.

- £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and commissioning of industrial pumps and ancillary equipment at customer sites within the Midlands.
- The Pump Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, and provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of industrial pump systems into various industries.
- Working closely with Dry-Installed pumps, Submersibles, Barrel and Tubular casting pumps, and more.
- Installing pump products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Working remotely, covering the Midlands, including Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough, and Northampton.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Filtration Engineer, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer, or similar within pumps.
- Working closely with sewage pumps is beneficial.
- Experience in the repair of pumps or associated products.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and operation manuals.
- A mechanical engineering qualification, degree, apprentice trained, or similar would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to work remotely, covering the Midlands, including Nottingham, Leicester, Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough, and Northampton.
