Responsibilities in your new role as Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you will efficiently carry out servicing and repairs on a variety of both company and competitor products, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality. You will be responsible for effectively planning your day to ensure as many repairs and services can be completed each day. You will be expected to travel to numerous sites, which may involve overnight stays.
In addition, you will need to manage stock levels on your company van, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, while also completing all necessary paperwork promptly and accurately.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Field Service Engineer who can anticipate problems and manage needs effectively. Your excellent manual handling skills will be crucial, as you may encounter situations requiring you to move equipment in various environments. Your attention to detail and commitment to following company procedures, including those related to infection control, will help us achieve our objectives and goals as a team. Due to the sites of this role, a valid PVG is required.
As part of the 24/7 on-call rota (which will be 1 week in 7 when there is a full team), your resilience, communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations efficiently will be essential.
