Overview

My client is looking for experienced Field Service Engineers to join their growing team in the Stevenage area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll carry out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on a range of power generation equipment and plant machinery, supporting their hire fleet and customers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair generators and associated equipment


• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs


• Install, commission, and disconnect equipment on-site


• Prepare kit for hire and ensure quality standards are met


• Participate in call-out rota to support customers


• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain company assets

Requirements

• Strong mechanical/electrical skills and hands-on experience with generators, plant equipment, or heavy engineering machinery


• Flexible approach, willing to work occasional unsociable hours


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service


• Full UK driving licence (essential)
