Fire Alarm Engineer – Heywood, Manchester\n\nWe are seeking a skilled Fire Engineer to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and small works of fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of system design and have hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure that fire safety systems are effective and compliant with regulations.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate fire safety measures required.\n\n * Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during maintenance and repairs.\n\n * Collaborate with customers to integrate fire safety measures into building designs.\n\n * Provide technical support and guidance on fire safety regulations and standards.\n\n * Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.\n\nExperience\n\n * Proven experience in system design related to fire protection or similar fields.\n\n * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.\n\n * Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation processes.\n\n * Previous electrical experience is advantageous for understanding system integrations.\n\n * Background in construction is , providing insight into building processes and requirements.
