Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: London / South-East / North London UK
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri, typically 08:00–17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break)
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of fire alarm and AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems across residential and commercial properties. The role requires a technically capable professional who can deliver high-quality workmanship, comply with regulations, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, service, and repair fire alarm and AOV systems.
*
Diagnose and rectify system faults promptly and effectively.
*
Complete job reports, certifications, and documentation accurately and on time.
*
Provide professional and customer-friendly service at all times.
*
Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications & Attributes:
*
Proven experience in fire alarm and AOV system installation, maintenance, and diagnostics.
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
*
FIA (Fire Industry Association) training/qualifications , but not essential.
*
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and IT literacy.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary (approx. £35,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience).
