Fire Alarm Engineer\n£36,000 -- £40,000 (depending on experience)\nBrighton\nFull Time | Permanent | 40 hours per week\n\nDo you have experience carrying out planned or preventative maintenance on Fire detection, AOV systems & Emergency Lighting Systems.\n\nAttega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Fire Alarm Engineer to join the team.\n\nThe main purpose of this role is to carry out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on Fire detection, AOV systems & Emergency Lighting Systems.\n\nThis is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08.00am to 16:30pm.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nCarrying out PPM (preventative planned maintenance) on Fire detection, AOV systems & Emergency Lighting Systems\nAttend reactive fault calls, diagnose corrective actions and implement those actions to resolve the fault.\nCarrying out minor small works installations\nConduct occasional site surveys to assist the office-based estimator in quoting for small works.\nGood communication and customer service skills\nUnderstand the client KPI’s associated with planned and reactive calls.\nOut of hours callout rota one in eight weeks\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nExperience in the Fire industry is essential \nAn understanding of the relevant British Standards for Fire Alarms (BS5839-1 and BS5839-6)\nKnowledge of Kentec, Morley, Advance, Eurotec, CTEC panels would be an advantage.\n Experience in fault finding is essential.\nExperience in taking downloads on addressable systems is desirable.\nAn understanding of cause and affect programming is preferable.\nFIA certification desired but not essential\nGood IT skills (Outlook, Excel, use of engineering apps )\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nFor more information on our Fire Alarm Engineer role, please contact Ant Fooks in the Attega Group offices today
