My Client is currently looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer for a Permanent position to carry out work in domestic properties covering Bristol and surrounding areas. The Fire Maintenance Engineer will deliver work across London and the Home Counties. The purpose of this role is to provide maintenance and servicing of life safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European standards, in accordance with BS5839 standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Provide day to day planned and reactive maintenance of contracts Servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems To respond to emergency call-outs and carry out any remedial works as required Carry out asset verification Install replacement/additional equipment Take part in the on-call rota Conduct site surveys as required Supporting the development of apprentices To always act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the clients Required Skills and experience: Previous Fire Maintenance experience Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266.
