You'll play a vital role in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting across a diverse range of commercial and industrial premises.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Fire Alarm Engineer, you'll be a key part of our field service team, ensuring that life safety systems across our client base remain reliable, compliant, and effective.\n\nYour role will involve:\n\n• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.\n• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades.\n• Work primarily across Sussex with occasional wider travel.\n• Deliver a high level of customer service, building trusted relationships with clients.\n• Ensure all systems comply with fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., BS 5839 & BS5266).\n• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n• Proven experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer.\n• Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and relevant compliance standards.\n• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability.\n• Professional communication and organisational skills.\n• Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).\n• FIA or BFC certification ( but not essential).\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n• Competitive salary based on experience.\n• Company vehicle, fuel card, and all necessary tools provided.\n• Ongoing training and support for professional development.\n• A supportive, friendly, and safety-conscious team environment.\n• Opportunities to grow your career as we continue to expand.\n\nIf you're passionate about fire safety and want to join a company where your work truly matters, we'd love to hear from you
