You will be working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineer’s and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.\n\nThe key tasks include the following:\n\nEffectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.\n\nLiaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.\n\nWork to a planned service and maintenance schedule, emergency call out requirements.
Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.\n\nThe systems you will work with at Trinity\n\nFire - Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec & other open protocol/conventional systems\n\nCCTV - HikVision, Avigilon, Dahua\n\nIntruder - Galaxy, Texecom\n\nAccess Control - Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher\n\nWhat skills do you need?\n\nExperience in servicing and maintaining fire, security & CCTV systems to relevant British Standards.\n\nAbility to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.\n\nA logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.\n\nTo always provide outstanding customer service.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication.\n\nWhat technical knowledge do you need?\n\nUnderstand the basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.\n\nA comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV and access control problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.\n\nBasic Electrical Safety training (ECA).\n\nWhat will Trinity give you?\n\nAt Trinity Fire & Security, we believe in rewarding our employees for their work and commitment.
