Role Overview

Safety systems maintenance engineer, including reactive calls.

Key Tasks

• Responsible for maintenance as per Level 2 and Phase 2 reactive calls to sites with faulty systems, when the senior engineer is already on site.
• Part of the Out-Of-Hours (OOH) call-out rota.
• Carry enhanced van stock to achieve a high first-fix rate.
• Manage van stock similarly to Level 1 and 2 roles.

Service Delivery

Understand and deliver service excellence by ensuring basic tasks are performed correctly and contributing to team performance with a focus on service quality.

Managing Risk

• Be aware of operational and regulatory risks that may impact your work.
• Report any risks to your line manager that could affect the business.

Managing Health & Safety

• Conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements, ensuring reports comply with H&S requirements.
• Liaise with the Head of Compliance to ensure role-specific compliance is maintained.

Criteria

Essential Attributes:

• Good understanding of safety systems.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards (BS).
• Ability to fault find and rectify issues.
