Fire & Security Engineer\n\nBerkshire / South East / regional travel\n£35,000 - £42,000 per annum + benefits\nFull-time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe're recruiting for a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join a forward thinking integrator known for working with high-profile clients such as universities, government bodies, and historical sites. You'll be involved in installations, servicing, fault-finding, and technical support across fire, intruder, CCTV, access control, and related systems.\n\nYou'll also have the opportunity to branch into smart home automation projects if you have the aptitude and interest, expanding your skills in high-end, integrated technology.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInstall, commission, service, and maintain systems such as Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, Door Entry, and perimeter security\nProvide technical advice and support, especially during sales and handovers\nConduct site surveys and produce design drawings for the sales team\nEnsure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. NSI Gold, British/European norms)\nProduce and maintain installation records, servicing paperwork, and system documentation\nPerform fault-finding and repairs across a variety of systems\nAssist with smart home or integrated automation work when required\nContribute to continuous improvement, self-learning, and upholding company values \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nProven background in Fire & Security systems (installation, servicing, troubleshooting)\nStrong electrical aptitude and competence\nFamiliarity with IP networking ()\nKnowledge of relevant British/European standards and NSI Gold processes\nGood problem-solving and decision-making skills\nAbility to work well in a team and communicate clearly\nWillingness to adapt and take on cross-disciplinary work (e.g., smart home)\nValid UK driving licence \n\nWhat's On Offer\n\nCompetitive pay reflecting experience\nCompany vehicle, tools, phone, and laptop provided\nProfessional development and training to broaden your skills (including smart home)\nExposure to high-profile clients and cutting-edge projects\nA team environment that supports progression and learning \n\nHow to Apply\n\nIf you're an engineer with real passion for Fire & Security systems and a desire to grow into integrated automation, we want to hear from you.
