Job Opportunity: Fire & Security Engineer Location: Covering North West and Yorkshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join our team, responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of Fire and Security Systems. The role covers a regional area, primarily across the North West and Yorkshire, with minimal long-distance travel.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Servicing Fire and Security Systems including:
*
Intruder Alarms
*
Access Control
*
CCTV
*
Fire Alarm Systems (both addressable and conventional panels)
*
Commissioning of systems (following training)
*
Fault finding and diagnostics across the systems listed above
*
Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues
*
Participation in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 7 weeks)
*
Use of company-provided laptop and mobile phone
Skills and Experience
Essential:
*
Experience in servicing, maintaining and fault finding on Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Refuge intercoms
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Able to pass security screening
Desirable (Training Provided if Needed):
Fire: Notifier, Gent, Advanced, Morley, C-Tec, Kentec
Intruder: Galaxy, Texecom
Access Control: Paxton, Inner Range, PAC
CCTV: Hikvision, Bosch, Dahua, Pelco
Salary and Benefits

Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way

Time and a half paid after 40 hours

Double time paid after 12pm on Saturdays and all-day Sundays
