We're seeking experienced Service Engineers to join a growing fire and security business with opportunities in both Swindon and Brighton. About the Role

As a Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned maintenance, reactive callouts, and remedial works across a varied customer base. You'll ensure compliance with British Standards and current legislation, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

Perform service visits, fault diagnosis, and remedial works across fire and security systems.

Communicate clearly with customers regarding service outcomes and any follow-up actions.

Maintain van stock to support first-time fix rates.

Identify non-conformances and report recommendations for quotations.

Respond to emergency calls within agreed timeframes.

Complete all documentation accurately and in line with company standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in fire and security service engineering.

Familiarity with British Standards (e.g. BS5839, SP203) and SSAIB regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
