Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Fire and Security Engineer based in Norwich or the surrounding area. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems, CCTV systems (VSS), door access and intercom systems across East Anglia. The role involves collaborating with team members and clients to ensure the best possible outcome for the task at hand.

Qualifications

• Evidence of a proven track record in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of all types of security systems from brands such as Orisec, HKC, Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision, UNV, Kentec, Advanced, and Videx.
• Fault finding experience across the board to provide detailed diagnostics of system issues, and the skills to complete job reports with detailed notes allowing remedial work to be carried out efficiently.
• Experience with using a Laptop to carry out system configuration, IP network troubleshooting and completing digital documentation for site records and reports (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, OneDrive and Sharepoint).
