Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer\n Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas\n Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE)\n Benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Tools Provided, Paid Overtime, Ongoing Training & Career Progression\n\nWe're working with a respected and established company within the fire and security sector, who are now seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join their team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a motivated engineer to work with a company that values its staff, offering stability, excellent earning potential, and genuine career progression.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you'll carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across a range of systems including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control. Working on both commercial and residential sites, you'll ensure systems remain compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest standards.\n\nYou'll represent the business on-site, providing excellent customer service, completing detailed reports, and working independently or as part of a team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nServicing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems.\nDiagnosing and resolving system faults efficiently.\nCompleting accurate service reports and documentation.\nProviding excellent customer service and building rapport with clients.\nEnsuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.Requirements:\n\nProven experience in a fire and security service role.\nKnowledge of systems such as Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton, Honeywell, etc.\nFamiliarity with British Standards (BS5839 desirable).\nFull UK driving license (essential).\nECS/CSCS card ( but not essential).\nStrong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated attitude.What's on Offer:\n\n£35,000 - £42,000 basic salary depending on experience.\nFully equipped company vehicle and fuel card.\nAll tools, uniform, and PPE provided.\nDoor-to-door pay and regular paid overtime.\nTraining, industry certifications, and clear career progression.Interested?\n If you believe you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, apply today.\n\nAlecto Recruitment Limited is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
